ROYAL MAIL INDUSTRIAL ACTION UPDATE (25th October 2007)
We have a number of customers who have not received their orders with shipping method selected for: "Royal Mail Post".Due to recent official 2 x 48 hour strikes during 5th to 9th October 2007, and the unofficial wildcat strikes in London and Liverpool happening afterward, Royal Mail has "a build-up of mail that will take some time to clear and which is being cleared in the order that it was received."Any claims for non-delivery will be dealt with once Royal Mail announces the backlog is cleared.For latest Royal Mail updates, visit: http://www.royalmail.com/updateWe apologise for the delay which is beyond our control.During this time we recommend to use a carrier method like Citylink or Parcelforce.======================================================================= |

Checkout changes:Added "repeat email" field for customers to re-enter their email address.This is to check that both email addresses are the same and therefore entered correctly.We have occasional orders with the email address entered incorrectlyCustomers will not receive email confirmations due to incorrect email address entered.We hope that this change will reduce this problem.======================================================================= |
