Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta and Switch/Maestro. We can also accept non "Wipe Card Only" cards for Visa Electron and Solo cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.## Important note: (1) If you choose "Credit Card details sent separately" we cannot assemble your order until we receive your card details. Shipping And Handling
FOR SHIPPING TO UK ADDRESSES:Typical shipping and handling charges for delivery in the UK via Royal Mail are as follow:500g = £2.50, upto 1kg = £5.50Online orders also have the following special P&P rates:"POST FREE" on certain items, upto 100g = £0.70,upto 300g = £1.40Due to extra overheads for orders placed over the phone, verbal orders are subject to minimum carriage of £3.00 - so order online!We also offer Citylink Service which are specially discounted from our standard rates for orders over 1kg and upto 4kgs.If you select any of the "Carrier" shipping methods (eg Citylink, FedEx, please ensure that there will be someone at the delivery address to sign for the goods. The carrier will only deliver to the address specified as per your order. If no one is at the address they will leave a card for you to contact them. The carrier will attempt one more delivery before returning the goods to us. If goods are returned back to us, we will charge the cost of return delivery and (if goods are still required) re-delivery charge.## Citylink will charge us £15.29 + VAT for a failed delivery returned back to us. (correct 02/04/2008)## Please note: If the order value exceeds £18, we reserve the right to change the delivery method from a non-trackable (eg Royal Mail Post/Parcel) to a trackable carrier (eg. Delivery Schedule
Most orders are processed and delivered within 2-7 days of receipt of order. In all other cases we will endeavour to deliver as soon as all items are available as required.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. For EU VAT registered customers, there is an option during the checkout to zero the VAT and enter in your VAT number.

Returns Policy
The customer must inspect the products as soon as possible after direct delivery. If there is noticeable damage on a delivery where a signature is required, please sign the delivery "RECEIVED DAMAGED".No goods can be returned to WIRES.CO.UK without its express consent. In the event of faulty or damaged products being received by the customer, please contact us to advise of the problem whereupon arrangements to rectify will be made.Material ordered in error, when returned & in re-sellable condition, we will credit & refund upto 90% of the value of the material only, and (if order was paid by card) minus 3% credit/debit card transaction charge.We are unable to refund:#1 Items that are made specially for an order (eg. Items sold in specific metres or kilos, ie 3 mtr Silver Wire is a specially made order)#2 Items returned back to us in a non resellable condition - eg return items in inadequate packing resulting damage during transit back to us.Please ensure all returns have a covering letter, including the order number.
